Description
The (empty) bridge for our robotics animation! There's going to be a globe in between the two rings- but I'm not modelling it, so it's not here. We were still trying to figure out what our overall style for the aliens was going to be, which should explain why it looks somewhat different from the hangar. Enjoy!

It's actually not V-Ray! This was done in Kerkythea, an obsolete free rendering system that was made for sketchup. It had a few perks over V-Ray for this image that I can't quite remember, but this is not actually V-Ray. It's the same idea as daily, a render gives me lighting and some hue, while a sketchup image export gives me linework. A tutorial that comes to mind can be found here, he explains what I've learned from him really well: postprocess tutorial .
...and you're the last one to comment on it, so I guess you already know! Haha, alrighty then. It's that very tutorial that is what I do, only without some of the cooler steps that he does. I hope this is what you were looking for
