Description The famous 1930 Emerson model J coupe salt flat race car (with a stock V-16) making speed runs on the salt flats circa 1930. The car was funded by Emerson itself, a standard coupe was built (and then stripped down to the bare essentials, well- almost) and then sent to the flats. The car was said to have run a solid 130 m.p.h. to 140 m.p.h., but it varies from mouth to mouth.

More on this later! (Hint hint)

Enjoy!

(Also- I went to the Woodward dream cruise today- my eyes nearly fell out of their sockets from gawking so much)
