From the newly announced Pokemon Sword and Shield! I got to work on the starters the day I saw the direct. Took a while to complete since I'm still fairly new to crochet, but I'm happy with how he turned out! The other two starters are next ~
I used embroidery thread for some of the detail, and added cardboard supports into his feet to give them the proper shape. The nose is a custom painted (and varnished) safety nose I found in bulk on Amazon.
Done with a 4mm crochet hook & worsted weight yarn!
Yellow: Red Heart Creme de la Creme (Cotton)
White: Cascade Yarns Nifty Cotton
Orange: Avalon (Acrylic/Cotton blend)
Black: Bernat Handicrafter Cotton
