The staff and crew of Trotcon 2012 were absolutely brilliant and professional in putting together such a great convention! They were also unbelievably kind enough to let me design the book cover for the convention itself.Here's the con OC Peanut Bucker battling an inconsiderate dragon high above the streets of Columbus.

Oh, for Pete's sake! Cut that dragon some slack! He just wanted rest, he had all the more reason to attack the mane 6, and he was completely tamed by Fluttershy. I even think he has a crush on her. Way better than FlutterMac fanfics. Please, don't think he's a true antagonist!

It's ok I didn't make it either, even though I wanted to go. Don't know if you know yet, but there is Canterlot Gardens in Strongsville, OH from Sept. 28 to Sept. 30th. I think it's about a 2 to 2 and a half hour drive from Columbus, so maybe it won't be too far for you.

It's a little under 2.5 hours for me.
So close... yet SO far away...
(I'm only 17, so my parents wouldn't let me make the trip, even if I asked. I was most disappointed that I didn't make it to Trotcon because pony artist JohnJoseco was there...)

Awww that sucks. They wouldn't let you go even if you had other people to drive with? 2.5 hours isn't that far and the con is at a holiday inn. 17 isn't that young. You're old enough to have a job and be able to drive, I would think they would let you as a sign that you can manage on your own. Are you a junior or a senior in school? That might be factoring into their decision. Either way they decide, there will be more cons in the future that you will be able to go to so don't worry.

Going to be a senior this upcoming school year. They have no idea that I'm a brony, and none of my friends IRL are bronies. That's why there's no chance. When I graduate, sure! But not now.

Well, you have time to decide yet. Do you have any idea what you would like to study while in college or what you would like to do for a living? That might be a good start on choosing a school. Also consider if you wish to stay in state or go out of state for school. You don't have to go to school right away either, taking some time to work/ save up money lets you live a little and kind of get an idea of what you'd like to do. I started college right out of high school, switched majors and schools and then ended up taking some time off, but I am glad I did because now that I am back in yet a different school, I really know what I want to do with myself and where I want to go with life.

I got 3 copys of that book. somehow I though I kept losing them or giving them away but I ended up getting 3 in my bag and in my cargo pockets after digging around.

If things like this actually happened, I might have a reason to go downtown more often (Although TrotCon was pretty fun, and I imagine dragon fights probably have impressive collateral damage).

Anyway, besides the fact that this is awesome, the shape of the tallest building in the background looks like the Riffe Center downtown. Nice touch. My Dad works there. LOL
