Here's an archaeopteryx with the plumage coloured similarly to a European robin. The snow is there just to make it more festive, it's very unlikely that archaeopteryx ever saw snow!Related content

The colours are really good. I'm sure they looked quite pretty and colourful millions of years ago

Yeah! Though they do know that a feather which is thought to have come from archaeopteryx was black in colour: [link] They don't know about the rest of the body yet, though!
