Caudipteryx painting done for ART251; a color pallet study for a larger traditional piece, as well as a speed/texture test. I'm quite happy with it!Related content

Haha, I have this little caudipteryx figurine sitting on my desk! You painted it quite accurately, great textural renditions as well. The addition of pinks and yellows work very well to offset the abundant blues, love it. C:

Neat!! I wanted to do some dinosaur studies and I borrowed my roomate's figurines. They're really cool models. I wish I could get my hands on the microraptor one :'D Those are the coolest dinos by far.
I might end up using this pallet on a final painting for school, since I like how it turned out so much.

Maybe! I did paint it from a figurine, and I was looking from a somewhat upwards angle-- not usually the way you see a dinosaur standing :'D I could go check. Thanks!
