DESCRIPTION Adam West - September/19/1928 - June/9/2017, the first recognised Batman on screen has died, aged 88, this month, 9/June/2017. He and Burt Ward (who played sidekick, Robin) played BATMAN in the American TV series from 1966 to 1968; and also in the 1966 feature film. R.I.P. Adam
