My part for the april art trade event. And for once i'm actually early. Ten days ! Where is our world heading to?

So this is character Rah in Klimt style.

The theme was Art Nouveau. I think that the first thing that pops to someone given this is Mucha. Well i know this happens with me.
But i just didn't felt like going with the traditional intricate floral designs ans symmetry and everything. Mostly because i can't pull off symmetry even if my life depends on it...Anyways! On we go with Klimt! And i'm glad i went that way. This on is mostly inspired by this piece [link]

As for the designs on her dress i've copied them from works of a really great greek painter called Yannis Moralis (wiki-attack is here [link] ) and you can find most of them in google [link] I just love the way he represent the human form through geometric shapes. And that's the main reason why i think they fitted the Klimt style.
And well the red line on her face. That's just me.
I loved making this one! Learned a lot too both for Klimt and painting.

Lineart is made traditionally colours are all photoshop CS5 and mousey. Another 80%-20% traditional-digital.

P.S the ribbon says 'Suffer for fashion'. Cause *sunbearable 's character did suffer for fashion in my hands lol and cause i love Of Montreal.
