Description
The Vocaloid Series is a computer program that synthesizes singing in Japanese. It hasn't really come to American yet, but I was really surprised with the amount of people that recognized who I was at Otakon!This costume was all made by me. I actually based the design of this costume from the resin statue coming out of Hatsune Miku. I really loved how it looked like a shiny silver material for the top and went with that - I just had some fun with this design!
The sleeves and headphones actually do light up - I tend to wear this costume in evenings at conventions since you can't see it well in the daylight. You can actually see part of the light-up sleeve here!

How did you do the light up part on the sleeves? im trying to figure out basic wiring for this. I know its with LED but how did you do it?

I think mine may have been a little longer? I honestly don't remember the exact website I got it from since it's been about 3 years since I made it. Ebay has a lot of stuff if you look up "EL sheet" or "EL backlight"

let me start first by saying u did an amazing job
i went online n looked at alot of ppl cosplay this character and urs is hands up THE BEST
me n my friends want to do a group cosplay of the vocaloids n im kinda incharge of making the costumes
can u gimmi some pointers advice or lk maybe perhaps a pattern or seomthing
that wouldreally really help
