Also because you didn't just stick the Mario cast in Splatoon to make a quicker buck.
But no, I'm not actually expecting them for Smash 4, but who knows what the future holds for this series?

Though if they worked with another company or made some exclusive deal for a more conventional-style shooter, that could help cater to a market Nintendo pretty much ignores, that much is true. Not gonna hold my breath for that though~

yeah, every year i am reminded and re-saddened by Nintendos relations with third party developers. ZombiU and The Conduit franchise gave me hope though...for awhile...
