The squid-kids have arrived at long last! They treat Smash the same as they treat Turf Wars - splatter foes up with ink, and they'll be more vulnerable to attacks. And they have a variety of weapons to sling the ink around, from the Splattershot to Splat Bombs to the Blaster...and so on! Of course, they must mind that they refill their Ink Tanks now and again. Regardless, staining the battlefield never looked so stylish!

From the footage I've seen, they're looking to be pretty good fighters. After learning of their ink refill ability, I was kind of wondering why they didn't use that kind of thing for Pokemon Trainer's switching out ability.
