the two pandas are very cute, yet this image still has a couple of flaws that cuteness does not make out for. one of them is the way you colored it, the fact that you used a soft edged brush that does indeed blend the colors better, but it also makes the image looks blurry and not pleasing for the eye. also, cold colors are not a good pick for depicting cuteness, so next time try some yellows, pinks and oranges instead of the blue/green combination

it's ok, i did the same mistake when i was poking Photoshop. it's a very tempting brush because the soft edges make you feel that you can't make too many mistakes when it comes to obtaining a realistic shading. which is true, but only till some point.

Looks to me like the one in the back is trying to reach around and steal the heart away from the other one. If they were standing up it would look like a panda mugging instead of a hugging.
