Hilde is not the type of person who will stop before his work is perfectly done. He is usually soft spoken and gentle, has rather motherly and mature personality. He rarely loses his composure when handling stubborn patients or annoying people, though his patience still has its own limit. He also seems like a docile person who has no problem being ordered around, however he will argue and refuse if he finds the command to be irrational or ridiculous. He's also an affectionate person and may get rather touchy if he's fond of you, tough he will be careful not to be too clingy or get in the way of your activity.

Just because he smiles at someone it's not guaranteed that he actually harbors good feelings against them. Even if he looks naive, but he may be planning something behind his angelic smile. Hilde actually has a cunning side though he prefers to hide it, unless someone manages to trigger it. Hilde came from a doctor family in a big city, his parents were owners of a hospital and his siblings were all doctors who work there, except Hilde. Ever since he's young, he was never interested in becoming a doctor with all the burden and responsibility, their busy schedule had made them sort of abandoning their family and life, just like how his busy parents rarely stays at home. When he was older, he started hanging out around hospital, making friends with the workers and some younger patients. That was the time he saw a nurse taking care of an elderly with smile and gentleness. He wanted to be like that, the one who take care of the patients wholeheartedly and making them smile

After graduating high school, he told his family about studying at nurse academy. His parents, however, disagree and kept on forcing him to be a doctor, saying that a doctor would have brighter future and more income. Hilde snapped and arguments happened, fortunately his siblings were standing up on his side and told the parents that it's alright since Hilde would also work on medical field in the future.

Soon he started working as a nurse in his parent's hospital, however some people started to gossip around behind his back about how he became a nurse instead of doctor, they assumed that he was not as smart the other siblings, or his parents didn't expect much from him, giving conclusion that Hilde was a child of failure. Eventually rumors spread and staying in the hospital became a big displeasure for him, he couldn't enjoy his job the way he used to. His brother noticed it and told him about transferring to a hospital in a small city called Hitsuji City, where there would be no one who knew about his family background and life. Hilde agreed on the idea and so he decided to start a new life on Hitsuji City.
