Daz3d with Iray and PS CC for post.this is home. the river used to carry a lot of commerce. then a lot of troops. then came the surge, pushing the population towards cities and away from the rural towns like this one. once a outpost was set up, the peace returned, but only because of their constant presence. years had passed and they were beginning to get lazy with their duties. at times like this, it was better to just lose their gear, grab some tunes and a good e-book, sit by the water and just take in the sun, the birds and forget about the world.

Absolutely love all the detail in this. I would just add some DOF (not too much) so that there's some main focus because at first look scene is quiet busy to look at.
It's been quiet a while since I've seen a composition like this, so excellent job!

Excellent scene my friend. The composition is amazing. For me (but it's me) the church props is not appropriate, too clean or too lonely, or not the right scale, too big perhaps.
I will see if my own mojo is back for a new render.
