Description Was' in the mood to start these up again in GIMP and thus I did the Lime! In GIMP, I was able to make the juicy boi  look much more transparent because I had more colors to utilize and I kept adding more, including darker ones for that transparent depth. I don't think it came out too shabby considering GIMP isn't Art Academy and Art Academy Isn't GIMP! The only things I used in GIMP were the Smudge, Pencil tool preset (Just' for the sketch, it's all covered.) Oils 02 and Oils 03 brushes varying between basic simple and pressure opacity dynamics and smudging. It's a definite proof of concept once again that the lessons taught in-game can be applied elsewhere!

Steps:
-Sketch out the outlines with the grid of the shadow, outline, flesh and juicy lines.
-Block in the colors of the background and lime skin.
-Add color variance to the fabric background. I smudged it around to indicate oily strokes.
-Block in the flesh color.
-Add additional skin lightness/darkness/color with texture at the same time with Oils 03 and Basic Simple.
-Drew in fleshy colors from dark to light in a star formation, making the middle the lightest. Then added more dark for depth in the juiciness.

I did a bit more as noted such as adding more color variance to the lime skin and flesh. But that's not in the game's lesson, lol! Basically I just kept piddling with it to match the photo reference gave more than Vince's result.

Enjoy!
