Most mammals just ain't my thing to draw...
I tried though...
I don't have much to say about manetrics.
Since they have a mane, i image that they would live in packs (i've always though about manetrics as loners, but the mane just made me think otherwise). Thick, shiny fur indicates that a invidual is strong and heatly, thus the alphas of the pack would have the biggest manes.
For food, i'd say the basics would be smaller mammals like rattatas, pikachus and other small rodents. But they should be able to bring down bigger prey like stantlers when they work toghter in the pack.

I like this manectric, even though mammals aren't your thing. It looks feirce. Though it looks a little more lion like than the coyote/german shepherd like pokemon it's known as. I might have thought of modeling it after a maned wolf, but then again, it is your pokemon.

Whew, I really envy your skills on the area of animal anatomy drawing, cause I suck on base of dogs cats.....or anything with legs for that matter. A very good work, like your others of course. Fav'd Sceptile, that one just stood out for me. Keep going on with the good work I'd say.

I hated the strange Manectric's pyramid head and my heart was happy to see you adopted the same solution Irene adopted some months ago in her version of manectric. I think he's very cool with a furry mane. I like very much his eyes in this picture, fierce and noble at the same time. Very good job AnnaJ, A+!!!

This is a very interesting take on Manetric. It's one of my favorites from the newer games, and you did such a good job on it, too.

I dunno what Mega-Lupin-person is talking about - I looked up a picture of the Manetric (since I don't really know much about Pokémon after Mew) and the head doesn't look like a bird to me. XD But that's just my thought, I guess.
I think this is cool, really. ^_^ I think you did a great job, as always. :B Your Pokémon designs are always fun. ^_^

It's a very good transformation and an excellent idea, but the head of a Manectric looked somewhat like a bird of some sorts... This lead me to a sort of Sphynx like creature.
Though, as said, I really like this version too.
