Being surrounded by lots of people, Being ignored or interrupted when speaking, the Beads of Subjugation (for those who don't watch Inuyasha, check out this article: inuyasha.wikia.com/wiki/Beads_… ), Being forced to do things they don't like to do, having a trick fail.

However, they didn't reunite when they both were 14, where Neo-Ka attempted to assassinate Shadow (though that resulted in getting the Beads of Subjugation around them). However, since then both Shadow and Neo-Ka stay somewhat close to each other.
