what WOULD be there is more flat muscle structure, like in the face.
but because it's a zombie bite, the muscles should be a little ripped up.
you know the big neck muscle that goes from your collar bone up to behind the ear?
that's the one placed where you made the wound, and it would be more smooth... kind of? *is making long comment*
.... you could just touch around on your neck too and feel what kind of tissue that lies beneath too
