Description
This was something I've wanted to do for a while. The RS-V12 is one of my more complicated and mechanically involved MOCs, yet on the surface it doesn't quite show because most of the MOC is concealed. So I figured I'd tear a little bit off and show you what's happening. Ironically I couldn't literally "show what's under the hood" because due to the design I've got to take the steering system roof, and front portion of the cabin completely apart just to pull the technic panels that make up the hood off. Its quite involved and I didn't want to rip half the MOC apart. So instead you get a taste.Check it out though, cool picture of it on those rock base plate parts from the Bionicle playsets.
The first panel shows the car from the bottom and the mechanics for the adjustable seats. The next panel shows the RS-V12 without the aesthetic components and the wheel to show the inner mechanics of the moving turret and some of the framework and steering+suspension mechanism. The succeeding panes then place back the Aesthetic components and wheel until complete again.
On a side note, I changed the Steering wheel since the one I had on there went to my Big Daddy MOC. I'm not entirely sure if I like it or if I should find another design. This looks kind of bland to me.

Hmmm I never really considered this to be a "Mad Max" Style, but thinking on it, its definitely got it's roots in Mad Max. My main inspiration was the Warhog from halo, and the Sand Shark from Jak 3 and Jak X racing game. And those both probably took inspiration from Mad Max in some form or another. So I guess this could be a kind of "polished up" Mad Max style vehicle. It doesn't really look like it was made from rusty junk, but its configuration as an attack vehicle fits the bill.

Ummmm The rulse say 4 wheels and seat one driver. So I'm gonna say no, the driver should be separate from the cart. You could always do one of those F1 racer style cars where you can't see the driver's lower have. Something like that would be pretty neat if you could pull it off.

Well in that case, I need to recreate the cart, find many more pieces. Luckily, my driver already has the torso done. I have four wheels, but they aren't perfectly circular, and are really tiny. I have a little companion MOC that I made long ago, and I'm trying to find a way to include him. Also my Driver is a giant titan MOC. Unfortunately, he has blades instead of hands.

Nah. I made this a long time ago. I was just straightening up the room, wanted to get this back together so I went ahead and did the pictures. I can't exactly enter my own contest now can I?

Cool. I always wait till the last minute to post my contest entries in a contest. I like going "woop here's mine' right at the end so no one like steps up their game cause of what I did with my entry. I just wanna out do them at the last moment before they have a chance to react with theirs.

Hmmmm Okay> Well the steering wheel is on big daddy and it needs to stay there. if I get another one maybe I'll put it back the way it was. I guess this is okay for now.
