Description So Sage Fraggle belongs to She's an OC who's Mokey and Boober's daughter. And she's kind of my favorite thing ever.

I rarely like any OCs at all, but there are some really nice Fraggle ones out there, and I especially like Sage. I like her because she's spunky and intelligent, while also appreciative of the "littler things"--like helping her dad with laundry and doodadding her hair with random treasures and ties. Supercute.

She also chastises Red in one of Miss Negaduck's fics, and let's face it, anyone who can rightfully tell Red off gets some serious props

Poncle, the little brown daughter of Red and Gobo, is also Negaduck9's. Boober and Mokey of course are just Jim Henson Company puppets and not mine either.

Oh but I do own that fish, sorry. My betta fish was spying me as I drew this...please ignore that little thing.

Do you mean in 's world? If so, kind of. In her fraggle-verse, the Five didn't want to pair off, so they made a family together. Wembley has a son with Mokey, named Janken: negaduck9.deviantart.com/art/H…

O-MY-GOSH! I'm a fan of Negaduck9's OC, Janken, but Sage here is very cute and a very nice doodle dump of her too.

Oh, I love this! You make her so cute. Heh, I never thought to draw her without her braids and tails and things, but I bet that without them she'd have Mokey-like hair.

I can't pick one doodle as my favorite, but my eyes keep wandering back to the pick of Poncle getting a horsieback ride. I never pictured that scene, but it's something that definitely would happen. In fact, she likely went through a phase of doing that to everyone. After all, if Mama Red will give her rides, so will everybody else!

You mentioned the scene in "Red Versus Blue" with her blessing Red out. Heh heh...that was way too much fun to write. It takes a kid to say things like that to Red.

Oh hooray! Thank you a bunch!

Mokey-like hair! Nice. I imagined the length would be uneven and choppy 'cause she's so full of pizzazz! You know, maybe a little Joan Jett-mullety, but messier Eighties. (Sage doesn't seem like much of a 'Joan Jett,' but y'know.)

But those pigtails...if there's one downside, it's pullability, and Poncle has to figure that out at some point! Dern little sisters Heh.

It is an interesting note that the kinship relations come off as being oblique (Gobo, nephew of Matt, nephew of Gobo) is their evidence of a patriarch or matriarch structure. Given their well developed horizontal relationships with each other, I could definitly see a kind of communal rearing. Therefore a more oblique kinship structure could seem plausible.

Totally agree! If you haven't read Negaduck9's fan fiction, I would definitely look into it then. She does a great job of illustrating Fraggle kinship as she could see it being organized (kind of a mixture of communal and consanguineous), using her OCs to explore those kinds of relationships. Pretty good reads
