Is this supposed to be the Persian Cinderlla or the Iraqi?

I understand the story takes place in the Near East. I was just wondering specifically what version the picture was referring to. Because I know of Persian and Iraqi versions of the Cinderella story.

It's the Grimm Fairytale with a makeover, not an alternate cultural variant.

I really like the perspective you used and the expression on the peoples faces. Great use of space too.

There used to be a time when I'd never have been able to finish a piece like this, let alone in just a handful of days.

Oh I wish I was one of those cases... I spent 18 years of my life struggling in all aspects of my life without knowing why, then another 3 fighting the power with various non-medicinal avenues, before finally relenting to the inevitable and taking some time off to get titrated onto the right kind of meds. believe me, there's a few of us out there who really do have it, and who really do need the drugs.

u see, here's my thought about it.
the human mind is evolving before our eyes, and have no idea how to cope with it. kinda like in X3, where the "mutations" are a "disease" rather than evolution. i saw a news story on a school of, i think, kindergartners who were able to absorb and "read" books without actually reading them. one kid could understand it by flipping through it back and forth really fast, and it was some deep theological book, like Brave New World, and the kid had an opinion about it and everything! i firmly believe humans are experiencing evolution right before our very eyes, and don't realize it!

Interesting thought, but I don't think it applies to me within the context of ADD.
Also, according to Darwin's theory of evolution, we've always been evolving right before our very eyes. The changes have just been so gradual that it's unlikely we'd be able to track it

well, Darwin can come and sue me for thinking a bit out of the box on this one...
i'm not too convinced we're 100% ape... i mean, we have an extra Chromosome... most evolutionary things keep to their genetics, but just adapt physically...
so where DID that one come from?
