Otherwise known as the ref that took longer than it should! At first I was just doing to do the front view. Then I decided I want to do a backview so I could show off how I though her plates would work. Then I decided to add the notes. Then I decided since I already had the figure, I should just sketch some quick outfits for her! Oh, and shading too. Did some really quick shading just because.

So yeah, okay, this is sort of how I figure a human/turian hybrid would work. I'm not totally satisfied with her construction and will probably mess around with it more at a later date, but this will do for now. I always intended for Valene to look more human since it would be Shepard who gave birth to her, although she would end up with a few plates. She came out kind of weird looking, but I actually like that.

I'm not sure about the plate arrangement on her back, but somehow the idea of her having plates along her spine just made sense to me so I went with it. Her feet are messed up both because I can't draw feet to save my life, and because they're supposed to be weird. So it worked for me this time. The darker brown areas of her skin are the callus-like areas where plates didn't fully form.

Outfits are just quickly sketched things so I could figure out how she would look with clothes on.

Oh, I didn't add a mature filter thing because I used barbie anatomy for this, feel free to say something if you still think I should add the mature filter.

...I just realized this is the first time I have ever drawn a bare butt. Huh.
