Description fjkdljsakl a little thing i drew for a fan art contest for Mandrake Boys, that 'Cultivating Boys' game I mentioned earlier in one of my journals! //v/// THESE TWO ARE MY FAVORITE GUYS IN THE GAME they're just too cute together jfdklhsfklajd ksajhfkldsj  the guy on the left is Jinhae and the guy opposite him is Dallae; the former is a personification of a cherry blossom tree and the latter a rhododendron flower, hence the two kinds of plants I put in the BG *v* They're supposedly old friends since kindergarten, according to their story in the game. It's fun how they ended up practically switching personalities, though - Jinhae was a crybaby when he was younger and Dallae protected him from bullies, but now it's the opposite and Dallae's the quiet one XD

Tried out another style, this time it's a lot more messy.. but I had fun with it though i sacrificed my wrist in the process orz It didn't get a lot of likes on the game's website though, I think it's a matter of style preference?? My style seems to be more appealing to westerners because Koreans usually like the cliche Pixiv style 'clean' art Asian artists usually do. :/ oh well XD

+ drawing desks is really painful;;;; how do you perspective idek

Your painted scenes are always great hun, seriously ;v; teach me and give no fucks about those people, they know nothing about TALENT it has nothing to do with style!
I especially love the calm atmosphere, and how you mixed so well the cold+warm colors (especially on the desks wowie)

The coloring in the curtains surprised me though, usually my curtains turn out really wonky ;v; and the hair was something I picked up from one of my artistic inspirations and tried implementing into my style~

I just sorta dabbed brushes and colors everywhere.... no joke... just dab really opaque greens/turquoises/pinks/purples all on one brown and you get this weird nicely textured kind of wood idk
