Dune, The Diamond Marked Octoling, and the one who raised Dusty

Dune's life is pretty average (with so little known about Splatoon 3 this might be updated) he has an older adopted sibling named Spade and a younger sister named Dia, currently he has no contact with either of them despite Spade living in the Splatlands. He found Dusty as an egg among destroyed nests and half eaten eggs he took her back to his apartment and incubated her. As an adult she's VERY protective of Dune and the rest of the Dwellers to some extent. Dusty shows some affection toward Emerald when she first meets him with in unusual for her. As for Dune himself, being friends with Amethyst for so long he is VERY skeptical when someone claiming to be Amy's twin shows up from nowhere. He currently lives in his apartment with Cross, Bronze, and Amethyst.

He has no backstory because I need to know more about Splatoon 3.
