Decided to speedpaint and coincidentally, the seminar I was working on answered me a few questions regarding contrast and color use... So here ya go! Mostly was trying to practice and use tips I got from professors regarding setting up the composition, it's way more faster but I still need practice and freedom, as they keep saying I'm strict and closed off.[tumblr post]

Cyrodiil! You've made it look so lovely! This really makes me want to go kick my brother off of Skyrim so I can play Oblivion.
The second one is my favorite. I love the Ayleid ruin and the Arena bloodworks, but Akatosh...I'm going to cry again.

Man that was an emotional scene, I wish to play it once more. I got it installed but work is keeping me from playing it. But I managed to play for half an hours or so, and thus this came to be!

I love when those small experiences in game, when you only get to play a few minutes, spawn an idea. They're some of the best.

So I ended up finding some graphics mods that make some pretty cast improvements on the way it looks. All it really takes is an update to the shading, then some minor model and texture upgrades to make the game enjoyable to look at, even it's not up to current standards.
These, of course, highlight some of the best aspects of the setting: sweeping green landscapes, and wonderful Imperial architechture.

They're nothing that's too intrusive. They just update some textures and models, modify the shading to make it pretty, and maaaybe make a few gameplay changes... >.>

Ah yeah, that was a total eyegasm, When it first happened to me I didn't rush to do the next quest. I just looked around the place and probably stared for a good 5-10min or more heck I don't remember anymore
