Description We knew the world would not be the same...
A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the lines from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita
Vishnu was trying to persuade the prince that he should do his duty
And to impress him takes on his multi-armed form and says,
"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."
I suppose we all thought that, one way or another.

A few people laughed, a few people cried, most people were silent.
I remembered the lines from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita.
"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

the 11ths were just stones in the walk.. but all those stones wont be enough to cover the millions of victims of the americans and their puppets...
there will be more 11ths, obviously. the agression, the terror, the killing, can only generate such reactions...
palestinians are being still shot down and walled. yesterday a fellow deviant, my friend, had a 13 year old cousin killed by a sniper. he was playing with his friends.
what about the chechnyans? the basks? the countries we have destroyed (too many to number)?...
No, Death, the destroyer of worlds, has long started its walk in ours...

(good piece.. )

ah.. and welcome!

I do so agree with you when you pick up the sentence I use and say Death has long started its walk amongst our world...and does, unfortunately, yet apparently, still have a long path of mischieve and pain ahead of her. Still I believe both nine eleven and eleven of march (as you can see I refer to both in this piece) generated awareness for "the state we're in" - and for things that have been going on for so long, but apparently, for some persons, not long enough, like the israeli-palestinian conflict, the whole middle-east issue amongst other which souldn't be but are often forgotten, like the ilegal occupation of Tibet by China since 1950. The world didn't change after September or March 11, what did change was our - or at least some people's - perception of the world. What I truly regret is that some chose to take advantage of that in order to follow the trail of the "destroyer of the worlds" instead of seeing such moment as an opportunity change towards a new direction.

"Shame on you Mr. Bush. Shame on you" - and I hope I do not offend anyone's political views or feelings with this quote if I do, you must stop to think and wonder if I'm not as entitled as you to have my own opinions. (obviously this does not refer to you nicriver, it's just "food for thought")

Thank you so much for your comment

oh thats the food for thought i love...
i couldnt agree more with you.
i just think it still hasnt brought an awareness for the state we're in for peoples perception is that there is a threat coming from horrible terrorists willing to share innocent blood...
yet... i believe the virus of awareness is slowly but progressively spreading and it will eventually end the cancer...
one day...
we're not alone..
