SUPER BELATED MOTHER'S DAY UPLOADDDD!hehe so I painted this but forgot to upload it and then realized when working on new commission examples =_=
So here it issss! First landscape traditional painting on canvas... (I think) and It isn't... THAT bad but not very good either
Time: 5-6 hours

I liked it, but I think you still need to work more the details of the painting, be more detralhista and realistic. Please, this is a simple observation, not a criticism. Art is beautiful, but could improve even more

I think you did really nicely on this one! Bravo! The water and the tree looks exceptional!

I have just got to share this with you: I was painting a box the other day with some craft paint, and I drew a mountain range on it- but not with paintbrushes. I'm telling you- you can get the craziest shapes, and textures using magazine paper. I LOVE it. And then when the magazine paper becomes to wet to use anymore and folds away into pieces of nothing-you can roll it away into the paint itself and it becomes a cool texture piece! I used one to turn it into a cloud, and I loved the effect. This was REALLY fast, and easy to do- in fact- I might ditch my paint brushes just because their so expensive because I discovered the wonders of this new technique.
Who knows, you might like it, you might not, but I highly recommend just sitting down sometime and playing with large ripped up and wadded pieces of magazine paper.

This one makes me wonder. What do you think was harder to draw? The trees and the nature or the waterfall?
One thing that a person can learn from this, is that rocks look better with a white spot on the side.

definitely the trees! for the waterfall, I got the hand of it really quickly but the trees took a lot of time! i never painted trees before (traditionally) and it was really hard =_=

Well I think nature is hard in general to draw/paint, traditionally/PC. Soo many details. Yet, thats what makes it looks so beautiful. ^^
