Yeah, that could be a problem! I have been trying to paint watercolors - in color, of course - from some black and white photos. That's kinda interesting, too. I once knew a guy who was completely colorblind. He saw the world like a black and white TV program, or movie...I did feel sorry for him. How would you explain "blue" to someone who sees only in shades of gray?

that's exactly the issue... i learn some basic paint combinations for colors i don't see well and keep it really simple. my family and art instructor are my color spotters in case i really get off track... no books or classes cover dealing with color blindness... i'm not supposed to be an artist...lol!

... still comes down to painting what i see.

my grandfather was completely color blind, but a wonderful b & w photographer.

You are not supposed to be an artist - and bumblebees aren't supposed to be able to fly, either! Aerodynamically, they are all wrong, and it's impossible. But the bumblebees fly anyway...You go, Man!
