Description I’m not much of a landscape painter but every once in a while, a reference comes along that captures the imagination. This is from a photo I took on the path to Logan Lake… a small lake just off the Icefield Parkway, a stretch of highway that runs between Banff and Jasper, Alberta, Canada.

No, I haven't given up. I still pop into wetcanvas once in a while, even if it's just to see WDE reference images for the weekend.

I just haven't been in the mood to draw and I haven't had much free time either (very long commute to and from work). Lately though, I've been itching to pick up my pencils so hopefully I'll get back in the groove again.

okay id been meaning to comment on this for like.. EVER but never got round to it *is ashamed* XD
the lighting and composition here are gorgeous and the soft style just makes it look like an early morning or a nice sunset. I just want to go there, hehe. nice job
