Ezhno is an old soul that never seems like he's in a rush, even when things around him are hectic. He finds peace in little things, and is a man of simple pleasures. He is easily confused and doesn't understand social interaction very much – he probably was busy staring at the sun and forgot that you had lunch plans together. People make him nervous, but he tries to be as kind to others as he can.

History ||
There is a small tribe of living in the mountainous Ruin Valley that is rarely seen, though it is told that they are closer to pokemon than men. They refer to themselves as the Helaku, and their history is deeply intertwined with the population of Xatu and Natu that live in the valley. The Helaku treated Xatu as sacred, and it was said that those closest to th pokemon were closest to the gods. As such, members of the tribe strived to fuse minds with the pokemon, synchronising as much as possible and imitating the pokemon's behavior, staring into the sun and remaining motionless for hours. Eventually, after generations of synchronising and befriending Xatu, tribe members began portraying bird-like features, such as beaks and feathers, eyes and markings that resembled Xatu, and many Helaku began to show signs of telepathic ability. While these traits started out rare, it quickly became uncommon not to bear these features.

Ezhno is no exception to the tribe's legacy, though one of the few to be born with full wings. He is mute, as many of the tribe are due to disuse of speech for many generations, and had been living happily among the Xatu, taking particular interest in tending to the children of the tribe and caring for the Natu that often stumbled into pokemon trainers and explorers. This interest lead him to pursuing life as a ranger after meeting a group of Kanto Rangers that were holding training on Six Island when he was 19. After long debate with his tribe, he was granted permission to leave and set sail for Ohana, determined to help others.
