Sometimes it is easier to deal with what we already know, even though it is painful. We shouldn't live in the past, because we can hurt ourselves and other in the process. There comes a tiome when to let go is the best solution.
I don't know exactly what you wanted to transmit with this photo, because her presence there related with the title suggests confuses me in a certain way. However, I can perfectly understand the sadness, the melancholia, the dark sense of loss that involves this work. We lose something everyday even if it is something really small; sometimes those make part of greater things and when we find out they really matter, it is too late.
