PERSONALITY:
Shuuchi is a kind and compassionate person. He willingly helps anyone that asks for assistance or someone who he thinks needs it; often running around, he goes to those in need. He is a sensitive person, so he often reaches out to those who are less fortunate. He is also very curious; his own curiosity gets the best of him and he often wants to learn the reason and or truth behind many topics. Due to his curiosity, he gets easily distracted, and often times, it takes him a long time to finish something. He often writes notes to himself, in the form of reminders and they are often on post-it notes in all shapes and sizes. His desk is always filled with post-it notes from days, even weeks, past. Each one containing either mundane tasks reminders, or deadlines. But a lot of those notes are often disregarded, as he writes so many notes to himself that they often pile up, to the point where his desk is cluttered with papers and often resorts to him working in another area altogether. Despite this, he gets the job done, distractions and all, one way or the other. Another side of him is that he is also very passionate and enthusiastic. In regards to his hobbies and his likes, he often takes his own accomplishments with a sense of pride. He does not obnoxiously boast about it, but rather, he tries to talk and identify with others. He enjoys talking to people.

His stubborn side tends to show when he is particularly adamant about learning something. He may seem insensitive, but he is purely curious on an academic level, and on a personal level.

When he is not in a good mood, one may find him sulking in his room. While he is sensitive, he tries not to let things get to him. It takes a lot for him to get in that sulking state, but when he does, it may take awhile before he comes out of his mood spell.

For the most part, Shuuchi is usually considerate, yet silly and foolish. He tries to be a big brother to everyone. This includes offering help and constant (harmless) teasing.

HISTORY:
Shuuchi comes from what can be considered a normal family. Hard work and honesty were the two ethics that he was raised by. Ever since he was young, he had a talent for computers. He took it with stride and studied and worked hard. Eventually, he went to college to study in the field of computers. During in his second year at college, his younger brother got into a terrible accident. This put a financial strain on the family's budget, as the parents were already struggling to help pay Shuuchi's college tuition, and now, the medical bills started to pile up. Wanting to help out with the family's serious predicament, he dropped out of that college and transferred to a lesser-known college that did not have astoundingly high intuition fees. He then started working, so he can help out his family and continue on with his school work. He learned a lot from studying at this college, and was inspired to become a teacher himself. And eventually, he ended up landing a position at Higashimori Highschool.

He likes to stay fit, so he often works out. This includes going to the gym, or swimming, or just taking long walks with his dog.
He hated high school when he was younger, so he tries to make his lectures and teaching fun. But because of this, he goes off on tangents during his lectures.
During class, he likes to carry around an aluminum metre stick.
