geez, that kind of crazy random stuff kept happening to me all the time back in the days when I was huntin' for glitches...
ironically, I found them while I wasn't even looking for any.
Take starfox adventures for example.
Remember the passage with that "high tops" (or whats-it-called) stegosaurus-imitation?
There was a shooting passage, where Fox was on the Hightops-dinosaur, which was walking through the level and fox had to shoot random spaceships which otherwise would colide with the dinosaur and damage him.
Well, technically, you win, if you complete the passage, and you loose if your dinosaur has no energy left...
When I played that the first time, I won... AND lost, at the same time.
Then I fell through the ground.
Gladly enough I know how to re-create this glitch and also kept the savegame of that level (the dinosaur only carries you through the level once, then disappears, I guess)

Yeah this game has some random glitches, once for me tricky disappeared yet he was still there O_o
