Description Something left that day
Carried away on the belly of a snake
Memories I was desperate to keep
Washed away in my sleep
Sanity ticked away
On the handle of a clock going the wrong way
Part of me broke
Desperate for the dawn
And all I could do was throw it away
In hope of the day
Sink down a wall and pray
To push the night away
