Its cliche, centered, but I love it!
I think this one is better than the cropped one too.

What's with all the stairways in Utah???
I've been through Utah - I remember mountains & pretty rocks & driving through a herd of deer on the Interstate at one in the morning, but no stairs!
(That last one would've been a great shot, too!)
More B&W!!!!

Sepia still wasn't black and white though because it didn't consist of black and white! Oh!

Yes, but many old photos were improperly printed and has since faded to sepia!!!
(Trust me - used to help restore old photos!)

Ohhh, ok. So black and white eventually fades into sepia over time? That's cool. I like ssepia more now. I think I'll do some stuff in sepia. : D

Sometimes the quality of the paper meant it was a bit sepia to begin with, too. B&W does hold up better. Drag out a color photo from the 70's and I almost guarantee it has a slight to heavy magenta hue already!

Given that then, I think what would be really interesting is print out some of my photos now and later on in live go back to see how much they've worn down and discolored. I mean, in wierd conditions too... what would make a photo age quickly?

Light will cause them to fade & age faster. Something about those self-adhesive photo albums does it too.
Certain papers are more suceptible. I have a batch of enlargements that were all printed on Konica paper, and they have begun to fade and become a little cyan. The one in our hallway I've replaced twice, because the light really made it go cyan and blue!

Cool... I think I want to try microwaving a picture. Just for a few seconds. See what happends. it'll definitely be different than a polaroid though. That's just dangerous... but it doesn't stop me from doing it. haha It's so cool. At least I know what I'm doing.
