Rock City is a few miles off I-75, just barely north of the Tennessee-Georgia state line. (You switch between states at least once driving up Lookout Mountain.) I'd suggest reading Gaiman's American Gods before visiting, if you do; the locations there will gain extra meaning.

Thank you! The light was odd that day, filtered through a snowstorm about three hours to the south.

I love, love, LOVE this shot. If you made a print, I'd buy it. You and Folly should both have print accounts, dang it. But then I'd be broke.

I'll let you know next time I have access to a darkroom.. would an 8x10 on half-matte paper work for you?

If you want it mounted you're doing that yourself. Me and Super 77 don't get along.

Oh, yeah, of course. I just finished mounting six of my own prints. There were some tears and throwing of things, but I think I've finally mastered the process. But I'll kill myself before I'll ever *mat* again.

Thank you, dear! I am afraid that some of the texture shouldn't be there -- the photo shop was having some difficulty with their B&W scanner that day.

wow, what an interesting scene. nice photo, its a shame the left wall is a little out of focus.

Ah, I noticed that.. cropping it would, I think, leave me with an image resembling a bookmark.
Instead I will claim it is to emphasize the closeness of the rock (hey, it was close in there) and vehemently deny anything accidental.
