Fujifilm FinePix S5100My favorite thing about the airport is the field of blue lights out on the runways. I'm sure it makes some kind of sense to the pilots and air traffic controllers, but to my illogical brain, there's something fantastic about the idea of a pitch-black field full of blue.

i feel the same way!! i still am to this day fascinated by those lights!!! they are just a great color! nice shot.

They are! The highway leaving the airport here goes right by that field. Pitch black with blue lights for a good mile or two. I love it.
