It's nice to see Rotaar with a friendly side but I'm sure he's only harsh towards his enemies. Ha ha.Β

He's supposed to be very loyal. With enemies he's a force to be reckoned with.

Thanks, wanted to have him be a little different from the other dragon characters.

I always thought of Flygon as really shy most of the time. The type who'll watch but not talk and like to stay out of sight for the most part.

Yeah they're probably like that.

In story, Drake's fear of bugs is supposed to be a combination of a few things. One of them is plot related, so wont go into that to much. The other is psychological. He feels like a little guy that gets stepped on a lot (and he kind of is) which is something he wants to distance himself from, so the fear more or less manifested itself as a physical representation of that.

Thanks for an explanation- I was really curious since my idea of explanation behind was,
Flygon's first stage is Trapinch, which is most likely a bug and they sure could compete in the wild, because of scarce source of food.
With arena trap ability, once a Trapinch is encountered, there's rather no escape for most of Pokemon.
Some Pokemon have guts and instict of rivalry, some have fear and anxiety as their main "drive".
I thought the phobia could be an extreme coming from such instinct.

He's very loyal to friends, especially to Goodra. To enemies... he's a force to be reckoned with.

This isn't about the character being dumb, but the fact that this band of friends see the eeveelution family as the enemy. And that family has enough to worry about lol

What I meant with that was that at the current state of things, what he wants isn't really considered. He isn't strong enough to fight pretty much anyone. As shown when Goodra fireblasted the R, she can get in a bit of a rage, and Rotaar doesn't seem to care about the reasons that much. Drake seems the most level-headed (along with the Muk) of the bunch. If he gets strong, it is possible for him to stop fights, rather than participate in them.
