Here just a last sketch for my One Piece Oc's before tackling my strawhats "color spread" ; tackling now that is, more or less the established crew of Pinkbeard the I

Quite a colorful crew, and to some extent I have their stories fleshed out, I'll speak briefly of each of them trought their numbers:

1. Pinkbeard: To begin with, as it is clear by his lack of beard, he's not known this way just yet. He'll earn this name by the time he become an offense to the world government, way later. He's real name I'll yet not reveal, because I haven't thought of it yet

Going into his backstory, which weaves along a bit of the topics I'd like to tell with this story!. I'd like to tackle themes of history, it's fantastic and ephemeral nature, along ideas about that reading it's our best tool for empathy. And also one used for self justification and legitimation of the present

Now, execution of the story it'll be my Achilles tendon! 😳😼, a few more notes being this story begins in North blue, around over 300 years before the main story!

How this scribe boot up his journey, is trought wanting to tell the other side of Alexandria's library tragedy (And on canon, Ohara's island one) on pretty much the likely real way this famous library fell. It decayed trought many events and centuries of disinterest

For Pinkbeard on his island he as well used to have a fairly big library dedicated to storage knowledge, reserved for that is their scholars and the nobleman affairs. His breaking point being when the Germa kingdom took over their island on North blue, on a raid where fire spreaded over the library harming it's foundations finally plummeting beyond repair.
After vividly participating on recovering the leftovers of the place, he would find a secret passageway until then never known with texts from 1000 to 800 years old. According to the scholars this showcasing part of the structure of when the library was humongous and a whole garden stretching to the coasts, the reason likely related for times with lack of maintenance and resources.

Much of this texts have corroded, were receipts and client complaints; yet just a hand told him of the world ancient differ from the genesis that the world now believes. This sip of knowledge along having no more place on this island (No hay subsidio loco 😂) is what would begin his now, innocent journey among the seas!

He'll become the captain leading many scholars into the sea!

Also, note that their crew likes to stay a lot of time on each island to research and document them, and I like to stretch and linger the time everything takes, this adventure would last decades 😼

2. She's Pinkbeard fiance 😻, just like my other couple of Selene with Sven just an already declared couple when the story begins just to see their wholesome interactions, which I just would develop further on this case!

I based and even referenced her pose after the famed mimic Gogo from Final Fantasy! . And is that she was the main entertainer and jester for that is, at the service of the king and the people of the island!

Also wanted to give her an slight air of Eartha Kitt 😼 😻

For some time I thought of giving her a mimicking devil fruit rather the canon devil fruit I was also thinking, the Poke Poke nomi!. Yet then I thought, wouldn't it be better on the artist soul surprise with that it hasn't be shown before?

The ways she'll use the Poke poke nomi are way very creative, she can pull out of be, her gauntlets, zippers, shoes, cleavage or cape items of huge sizes (Hammerforce like), and she herself hide on items of tiny size with a hole of and opaque body of uncertainty on them!. and make others participant of her powers as long they are willing or very heedless. She's an illusionist of name!  (And also why strong users of observation Haki can interrupt her powers)

Now her backstory and way she fell in love with Pinkbeard, in that she as a girl had the same passions as Pink, she wanted to learn and study about the world. Something back then she couldn't afford and wasn't allowed to. She at the end was driven into the world of spectacle, and against all odds except of a natural charisma, thrived!
And even if over 20 years off, get a taste of that world she wanted to be on, by the hand of one his fans, that is Pinkbeard who meet him like a kind of private teacher.

🥰Here's another irony and wholesome thing between the two, a relationship between a man that desires to know the innerworkings of the world. With a woman whose secrets between the acts are her whole key!; Pinkbeard at the very end learning a lot of her, choosing to be the illusioned spectator than the skeptical!, from magic, to a few things about life and it's charmhood.

She'll contribute a lot to Pinkbeard's expeditionary ideas, as she'll donate her spectacle ship and money to go with him, not before participating on one last show to make sure have enough money to travel on the perilous Grand line!.

And from now on she'll become sorta their wildcard on dire situations the crew finds itself into. If it were for me, one of Buggy's references on the future 😼

3. Speaking of the contrary, of wanting to know with good reason what is going on!. This mushroom girl, back on Whole cake island arc we'll see briefly Big Mom having captive a strange race of humans mushrooms

Here comes some tasty fanfiction as I can make a lot of creative things with this people plain as a cameo! .
And thinking crazy and creatively like Oda does, here I fanfiction this the mushroom people. They come from Mushroom island, an island of self thought that gives deadly rashes to anyone it considers an invader.
Covered by all Pando trees and huge mushrooms which their people by gardening form off like homes and rather like to move trought interconnected ground paths like moles. Whose inhabitants all coexist to care and live for the mushrooms food chain decomposers.

This humans who ended establishing on the island, like Jango had eaten the mushrooms. Which on this universe means being weirder in a fancy way mutations and obtaining powers, this mushroom girl in specific can produce poisons and relaxers 😼. Honestly I created her while hearing this song "Over the rainbow" on Theremin from the wizard of Oz , and I written her by those vibes

The reason she being missing of her island, be a parallelism situation of what happened to Dorothy on the book, a waterspout took her and her pig when they were fishing, to be find on the island Pinkbeard was.
There they'll insist on studying her, and see if they could bring her back home. While some were worried she would be taken as an exotic animal.
At the end precisely Pinkbeard's fiance would save her from the library plummeting and then, she wanting to follow them on their journey convinced the Grand line would be the path to follow to find her home again.

She'll become chef for the crew!

That is pretty much the whole founding crew!, and together they'll leave North Blue on that time frame the Germa Kingdom dominated the whole sea for 66 days!, with an small confrontation with it's forces and an adventure of escaping into the Grand line.

The horseman from Long ring long land, he's the most simplest yet charm enough character of this crew so far 😼😺, a horseman from Long ring long land who offered himself as crewmen for money and thrill!. Our characters would met him on Whiskey peak as they thought on needing a warrior on the crew to defend them and teach them to pick a weapon proficiently.

He's good on the horse, the bow and the sword, and essentially would be their navigator trough paradise, one on sync with Pinkbeard's desire to know more of the islands of the Grand line!

He'll become their man of arms!

7. 👹👹 This is in order of meeting, and that knight, the black knight. They'll meet him on Alabasta. His backstory of my desire of make him from the same knights some of the General zombies we've seen on Thriller Bark.

And betting on this theory, that after all the defeats Moria suffered on the new world, one thing he'll learn and treasure. Being information about a huge battlefield with bodies of all great warriors who fell in battle, the idea that huge piece of island Moria took to make his ship, might be God Valley.

In any case he's a knight of apparent high status among the World Government, yet with actions and a compromise unnatural of them who believe above all else!.

The first time Pinkbeard sees him, it's along a pilgrimage. With his humongous steed being a Shire horse which he guides on middle of the desert, because he allowed this horse to be mounted by the eldest of the caravan.
He consider himself a servant of the lowest. He an hospitaller that protected this people from their exile from a devastated island, to a place that allowed them. Remarking that the king of this land was very well, so benign to accept this people as their citizens.

They'll stick out together for a while and make good crumbs, and even followed him on his way to Drum island to give it's people like 4.000 tons of sheep wool and firewood.

They'll meet again.

Aaand, that's all I would tell 😼. I haven't yet flesh out all they'll do on the other half of the Grand line, and I rather know more of the canon One piece story to think cool ideas around it, and give this Oc's a bit of an interesting perspective into the blue sea.

If I can, I'd like made One piece felt bigger, with Oc's that sorta sound like could exist, out there not necessarily to change the world but only that of their surroundings.

But if as a snippet, I'll brief on a single sentence each last crewmember!:

Meeting Aqueronte on Fishman island and become best of friends!, here wanting to truly mark that feeling like if the crew just completed along their goals!

The Fishman, from a Fishman pirate tripulation lead by a corvid captain that couldn't go back to the sea, where only he stayed on the island on Wano out of fascination, becoming a mythical mischievous figure among their people that would both torment it's inhabitants but also become revered as a master on the sword by a member of the Kozuki family. All of this before being expelled by a member of the Shimotsuki family

9. And lastly, the Armadillo. Pinkbeard's last recruitment of own before succeeding his fleet to his son! . He's cute

And spamming a song, out of pure luck I find and end on love with this hip hop song, really charming!
