The sky is my favorite part of this shot, those clouds just pop out at you! The daisy field is also quite pretty.

Everything about this image is wonderful - the foreground contrasting with the sky, the fence line dividing the image and adding interest, the hills in the distance being shadowed by the clouds. Fantastic!

I'm sure it's really no better or worse than anywhere else - you always have to be in the right place at the right time to get the image you want! And we don't have a real autumn - too many damn evergreens! - so that's one way it's not so great for photography! But, can't complain - I seem to be able to find plenty to photograph!

The more I look at it, that cloud formation looks like a giant whale swooping down low over the hills. Even without that bizarre imagery in my head, this is a powerful shot. It just seems like a song should be written about it.

Often the problem I find with landscapes is that they appear so bland, with a bland spectrum of colors. I absolutely love this photo, however. So many appealing aspects about this, whether it's the adept use of 1/3's or the intriguing contrast of colors between the blue/violet of the sky and green/yellow of the grass.
