No, not at all. It's a lovely painterly photomanip. They did a good job of balancing smudging and blurring then bring detail back with high pass in photoshop.

I'd urge you to look at this more closely, and at his other paintings. If you really aren't observant enough to notice yourself: notice the skin and hair at the back of her neck, and the hair just above her ear. Quite clearly painted.
An artist doesn't become as well-known and -respected as Mr Munoz has by passing off photomanips as oil paintings for years.

I have looked at it closely as well as other works several times. The textures are digital. Not true brush strokes.

I love the tear duct and the lip's! So well done! REALISTIC!!! I also love the ear's... the shape makes them very believable along with the actual ear piercing... the way it was done look's very real as well. I think you are amazing and now I see that it's entirely possible that the shoe piece is not a photo! I bet you're gettin' really irritated with all the doubts! Anyhow... YOU'RE AMAZING!!!!

what a stunning piece of art! I thought it was a picture. it would be more perfect if it was less perfect, if you know what I mean. Her skin is so flawless and her eye white is just too white. but maybe that was made on purpose. incredible technicque and talent

Did you work on this parallel to the 'How many is too many' shoes window painting? for your portraits do you work solely in paintbrushes or a few airbrushed parts too?
