Some tech details:
Blender 2.69: modeling plastic bricks and combining them into building model and box with scattered parts (here was heavy use of Scatter node)
DAZ Studio 4.9: partial scene composing (character, clothes and room interior)
Octane Render 3.06.2: final scene composing, materials setup and rendering
Paint.NET 4.0.16: signature adding

Ha-ha-ha, you got it! We spoke about the foundations, so I actually referred to this case www.telegraph.co.uk/news/world…

However, I must admit, this year I have been to China and the impression is staggering. The people are more crazy than ours (e.g., when they crossing the streets, not to mention the drivers), but those giant cities with all those freeways, huge airports, the fastest high-speed trains in the world, the "bridge across the river" 76 km long (like in that joke "let's construct the bridge along the river rather than across it - we'll get more money for it") - and today that very bridge takes the 5th place in length, 3 longer ones are also in China...
