Finally, I made an OC!! His name is Daichi, the new singer and guitarist in the band Ignition. He was only looking to be a guitarist, but the band's manager insisted that he become a second singer. This way he would end up doing duets with the other guy singer, Ryou, and their fan[GIRL]base would increase~But Daichi is new to performing, and isn't sure if he wants people to think of him like that. So he's nervous, but Ryou is all for it because he doesn't care what anybody thinks as long as his fans are happy. So the awkwardness between the two of them is pretty funny. :]
The band is kind of a cross between a J-rock band and a visual kei band. They have a definite style but not as..shall I say...all-out? as a visual kei band.

Trying out some new SAI techniques! I'm hoping to make my style more painterly, like this. So hopefully I'll be posting more art in this style over summer vacation!~
(I DIDN'T REALLY HAVE TO DO LINEART WITH THIS STYLE. I LOVE IT!!) Lineart usually takes me 3+ hours to do...'cuz I'm slow...

I've been practicing a lot of stuff that I just never uploaded to dA. So this is the first thing that I liked enough to post :'D
I'm glad he looks cute, but still like a guy ;w;
For the lineart, it was crazy...I just sketched my pic in SAI, then colored in under the sketch, and neatened up the lines when I had to. It was a completely different process than usual!! The hair doesn't have any lineart at all ;w; I don't know what came over me xD

What I usually do is sketch, draw some really thin, light lineart and then color underneath it. Then I change the color of the lineart to match with the base color. 8D
