Description Just a quick and easy tutorial on how to change the color of an eye, in this case, from blue to green. You can use it for other colors too, of course, you'll just have to play around a bit more with the settings.

It should, because it's still an eye, right?

It should work in Elements... Although, I'm not sure if Elements has a subtract selection tool, like the one that was used in the tutorial around the pupil?

Even if it doesn't have a subtract selection, you can easily work without it. Just select the whole iris (including pupil) with the elliptical/circle selection tool, and completely fill it in. Then just use your eraser until you can see the pupil.

Hope it works for you!

alright, thanks so much C: one last question (sorry!), how do you set the blending mode to hue? I'm a bit new on photoshop, so I haven't figured out all the tools yet.

thanks so much C:

On the layers palette, look around until you find a little drop down box that says "Normal". That's the blending mode box - click on it, and scroll down until you find "hue".

Here's a little visual to help you find it: [link]

so, I found a bit easier way... For the last part: Color it in, etc. Then in the green eye layer set it's mode to overlay. It worked a lot easier that way! Thanks for the tutorial!
