Description I did this on paint.....It is the first time doing anything notable so it may not be to good, but the message is clear.

Even though I am lesbian, I am still a human! I am not disgusting, gross, abominable, a monster, out to hurt anyone, "doing this" for revenge. I am not trying to make a scene, get attention, show off, or put on a show. I did not "go gay" because I couldn't get dates with the opposite sex. I simply feel this way, and have since I was young. I did not choose this, it just happened. In saying that, I believe I speak for the entire LGBT community.

I am a Christian, and I am sure I know the Bible ten times better than any of the people I anticipate will come to this deviation and flame people with they are going to hell. I spend time reading and studying the Bible daily, so don't try to use it against me.

Leave your homophobic comments and views to yourself. This is a pro-gay submission, and it contains a pro-gay message. If you don't like that, please just leave the page in peace.

It is all about love, so please, spread the love, and remember, everyone is human, and everyone deserves LOVE, no matter who you find it in. That may be a man, a woman, an androgynous person, a genderqueer, a FtM transsexual, a MtF transsexual, a lesbian, a gay, a bisexual, a pansexual, a drag queen, a cross-dresser, a straight person, a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Taoist, a Hindu, a Caucasian, an Oriental, an African-American, a Hispanic, or a Pacific Islander, or any other group I may have left out.

Love is love, no matter what. So spread the LOVE!!

Leviticus 20:13 Authorized King James Bible
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Romans 1:18-32 Authorized King James Bible
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 and likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

There's nothing wrong with being gay, I'm just a tad ashamed ofΒ the human part.

when I was first coming to terms with being a lesbian I really did feel "disgusting, gross, abominable, a monster"..
because that is what people always made me believe growing up..

Odd but most of pro-gay messages on DA makes me think that people who make them put the fact that they are gay above the fact that they are humans.
That irritates much. But this message looks much better. We are humans first of all and only then gay or straight or elsewhat. Great to see someone who remembers it)

thank you

I have another deviation that i made and it says "Do me and my girlfriend offend and disgust you? too bad!" I didn't mean for it to put that im gay above things, and i don't think others do either, but i think that they show it because it is an important part of who we are we symbolize our fight for freedom, and that you can't stop our love just because it is "different".

Wow...this is brilliant. It's unbelievable, why is being gay (or anything different) so bad? It doesn't make you a bad person, really. What is wrong with some, they treat us like crap!

Thank you I know right?! It's like Hitler...anyone different than them they discriminate, harass, and sometimes go further. Hitler actually targeted homosexuals as well, so looks like they want to follow in the footsteps of him.

i really don't see the reason behind their behavior, but hey, we can't control it. The best we can do is cope with it, and not let it affect us mentally. We can be active against it and oppose it, but not let it truly affect us, because their opinion truly doesn't matter to your girlfriend or boyfriend.

Juniper-Cahill-Grimm In reply to poeticrhythms [2010-08-09 19:56:45 +0000 UTC]

Oh, of course, no matter others opinions, ignore it, and if you can't--take shelter in a different crowd of people who actually like or dislike you for being you, not your sexuality.

poeticrhythms In reply to Juniper-Cahill-Grimm [2010-08-09 20:04:56 +0000 UTC]

exactly. remember, the LGBT community supports its members. we are one of the few communities that look out for and fully understand the other members
