Just a little tribute to an interesting plant. Works good as an iron-on shirt print, too. Enjoy.Drawn in ink, no preliminary sketch (I was taking a gamble with that!) Colored in PS (back in the day when I didn't know what I was doing)

This isn't the place for this, Thadeus. There are many decisions people make in life that are either for better or worse. The decision to smoke marijuana is not inherantly irresponsible or harmful, it is the decisions made afterwards. Some cannot handle the drug, others can. I've gone on fine through high school and college and I haven't smoked in quite a long time.
Regardless, go somewhere else for that discussion. The people who get drawn to this are here for the art, and I don't want this discussion here.

since there´s kind of a debate going on i think i should share my opinion too (english is my second language so forgive the mispellings). I´ve never seen anyone changing their mind over something they read on the internet but, i´ll try anyway.
I first started to smoke weed when I was 14. Like everyone, i started smoking maybe once a month. By the time I quit, (I´m 23 and clean for about 9 months now) i was smoking it every single day, 2,3,4,5 times a day. I was a goddam pothead, and believe me, like most of you i was really proud of it. I didnt agree with the rules that this society made up, so i would live by my own rules. I though I was completely free, ´coz not even the law, or my parents or anyone could tell me what to do. Finally my parents sent me to a drug clinic. there i found out that my attitude was just like every other drug addict that I found there. All this time I always though that someone else had the problem. The law, my parents, my brothers, the society.... you name it. For all this time I blamed everyone else, and never turned the pointing finger to myself. When anyone said anything about pot i would get so mad and say that it had nothing to do with it. It is so obvious that we do those "legalize-it" stuff, ´coz marijuana's our life style, our best friend. it cheers you up when youre feeling down, it turns a boring stupid day on the funniest day ever! I used to be just like all of you, and it seems so obvious to me now! Do you know why´s that???? Coz it´s and ADDICTION. Now I see it. I HAD to defend it, coz that´s what addicted are supposed to do! of course! Coz it was EVERYTHING to me. My friends, the cloth I wear, the music I listen to.. It was all about pot! It doest matter whats written on your posts. You guys are going to defend it even if i showed to you exactly how it is ruining your life.
I´m gonna try to make it really simple: YOU CAN'T QUIT. At least not as easily as you think. You might say: "I can, but I don´t want to". Do you know when you´ll want to?? Never. That´s why you can´t quit.
Let me try this other way: Is pain a bad thing? You might say "yes", but sometimes the pain tells us that´s something wrong with our body. Like if you have a stomach ache, it might be an apendicitis. If your stomach didnt hurt, you´d never know you had apendicitis and you would just drop dead!
Lets go the other way around: Is pleasure a good thing? You might say "yes", but pleasure might make you blind. Sometimes you feel so excited with all that pleasure, that you dont even see that your life is falling apart. You dont go to school anymore. You dont work. You are mean, and you are selfish. SELFISHNESS is the perfect word to describe and addicted (im not only talking about pot, but anything like gambling, or sex, or alcohol and any other drug). When you are addicted, you´ll do what it takes to get to your next high/drink/bet. In the beginning you´ll be skipping class. In the end you´ll be killing your father. You might be thinking "no I´ll not! I´m not selfish!" Drop that and please, THINK. Are you hurting anyone??? I dont know, but the chances are that you are. You´ll say no one have anything to do with it, but I bet someone ELSE is suffering because of your drug problem. (probably the ones that love you the most)
Do you think your free? 'Coz drugs are no freedom. An addiction is when the brain decides to do something BEFORE it asks if you want to. That´s what the problem is. Not to mention health and crime.
If anything that I said makes any sense to you, or if you feel like you want to quit but dont know how to start, just talk to me.

I can't say I like pot much, but the art is pretty damn good. I like the originality of how you made it drippy on one side, spikey on the other. Also, the colors inside are immaculately blended.
