This is absolutely incredible! Words can't even begin to explain how provoking this masterpiece is! Everything is just right! The neon highlights in the grass and outline perfectly balance the darkness of night portrayed. His eyes are wide and lost just like he really would be; one can practically see his soul floating away into the beautiful stars reflecting thoughtfully in his glasses. Even disregarding context, his face is entirely lovely. Even though detail is lacking in most of the work, it by no means takes away from its exquisiteness, but adds depth. There is just enough there to allow an onlooker to admire his neck and clothes and shoulders, but not so much that it distracts the eye, making it like we're really looking at him, not just another painting. Then, after the seriousness of it all, Iwaizumi's face in the corner not only balances Oikawa's body but gives the piece another kind of reality. He reminds "readers" that Oikawa is still a person, and a trouble-making one at that. For what it's worth from someone who isn't remotely on a similar level in talent, I can't find a single thing that doesn't just belong right where you've put it.
