Time well spent I think... 2 hours a day for several days perfecting the immense facial hair and commanding presence that has made Dumbledore a household character in the Harry Potter series. He's such an intriguing, clever character to read about, even if his motives are not always clear and he leads his devoted followers in circles sometimes. Can't help but feel he had an incredible grand scheme that, while it resulted in the loss of so many lives, would prevent the loss of just about everyone's lives at the hands of Voldemort...

For that, he's not exactly the pious, infallible headmaster everyone will make him out to be, but with a mind as clever and I guess pure as his, those flaws kinda fall by the wayside.

I could also say that the way you captured his tired old facial expression, as if he's truly seen everything, was about as perfect as you get. Overall, excellent job, and perhaps, I'd like to see a full portraiture of Albus one day, his best robes and all. Keep up the wonderful work!

I apologize for not replying sooner !
I'm glad that you like it so much !

It really was a lot of work trying to capture his expression as you've described and I'm overjoyed to hear your appreciation towards my subpar attempt to execute it... I've always been doing facial portraits so a full body portrait has never come across my mind. I'll keep it in the back of my mind for the next time I draw one! Thanks again for taking the time to look at this and voice your opinion! I honestly do appreciate it

Huh, nearly two months ago I commented on that... To tell the truth I wasn't really expecting one. So you've replied at least, always means something.

Yup, it was work that did pay off well, and I wouldn't be too quick to call it subpar... seeing how my drawing skills are so sub-par they're underground. (Appreciate the humility and modesty though, all good artists need to have that.)

Hey, if facial portraits are your thing then I suppose there's no harm continuing with that. But a full-body portrait would be a great challenge to try out.

It's my pleasure and I'll wish you all the best from here.
