Ten years had passed since the devastating attacks by Yveltal, and the region of Paldea was still on edge, wary of any potential threats lurking in the shadows. In a bid to safeguard against future calamities, a courageous girl named Liko volunteered for an experiment in Area 0. The purpose? To act as an observer, ready to alert the authorities at the first sign of danger.
Previous attempts at the experiment had ended in failure, with the unfortunate volunteers meeting mysterious fates. Undeterred by the risks, Liko bravely stepped into the unknown, prepared to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Placed within a chamber filled with molten iron, Liko's surroundings grew unbearably hot as the liquid metal surged around her. Yet, despite the intense heat, she remained resolute, her determination unwavering. When the iron was drained away, a remarkable transformation took place. Liko emerged from the chamber encased in a shell of gleaming metal, her once-familiar features now obscured by the metallic sheen.
As the years passed and the lab fell into disrepair, Liko – now known as Iron Observer – found herself free to roam the depths of Area 0. With her newfound abilities, she became the vigilant guardian of the region, her glowing orange eyes ever watchful for signs of danger.
Pokedex Entry: Iron Observer - The Guardian Sentinel On our most recent expedition, we found technology scattered through the upper layers of Area Zero, in what appears to be a security system. Whatever set it up knew we were there instantly. We found their lair, no their lab, in one of the abandoned workstations, and it is clear they have been busy. Multiple models like the one shown are scattered in various parts of the lab, but it appears only one head remains both active and in control of the entire system. What is even the purpose of all their observation, what do they hope to accomplish or learn here?
