In the heart of Area 0's sprawling crater, Trainer Rosa embarked on an exploratory journey, her curiosity piqued by the mysteries that lay hidden within its depths. As she traversed the rugged terrain, her path led her to a peculiar sight—a small pool of shimmering mercury, gleaming like liquid silver beneath the pale light of the crater.
Intrigued by the strange phenomenon, Rosa approached the pool, unaware of the peril that awaited her. With a sudden surge of movement, the pool began to expand, enveloping Rosa in its metallic embrace. Panic seized her as the mercury surged around her, threatening to consume her entirely.
But instead of succumbing to the suffocating embrace of the liquid metal, Rosa felt an unexpected sensation—a strange connection forming between herself and the mercury. To her amazement, she found herself able to control the molten substance, bending it to her will with a mere thought.
Trapped within the confines of the pool, Rosa became one with the mercury, her body melding seamlessly with its fluid form. Though physically bound to the pool, she found solace in her newfound abilities, using her control over the mercury to navigate the treacherous landscape of Area 0.
Now, after decades spent honing her mastery over the liquid metal, Rosa is known far and wide as Iron Melt, a formidable force to be reckoned with in the depths of the crater.
Pokedex Entry: Iron Melt - The Mercury Manipulator In investigating the ever-growing and changing labs of Area Zero, we came across a seemingly physics-defying pool of what we first thought to be mercury. However, as we got close, the metallic pool began to move, shooting out into structures, and even this creature was found in the center when we looked from a distance. It’s clear they are behind the new structures being built, or at least the materials for them. They also do not seem pleased we are here.
Moveset:
Liquid Metal - Iron Melt manipulates the mercury around her, shaping it into various forms to attack her foes.
Iron Defense - Iron Melt reinforces her metallic form, sharply raising her defense.
Toxic Pool - Iron Melt releases toxic fumes from the mercury pool, poisoning any opponents that come into contact with it.
Mercury Wave - Iron Melt sends a wave of liquid mercury crashing towards her opponents, dealing damage and potentially lowering their speed.
Ability: Molten Fusion: Iron Melt's mastery over mercury grants her heightened control over metal-based moves, increasing their power and accuracy. Additionally, she gains immunity to poison-type moves and status conditions, her metallic form rendering her impervious to their effects.
